Yes, simply contact us with details of your request to
upgrade.
Domain Name Questions
How long does it take to register a domain name?
All .com, .net, and .org Internet domain names are registered with Internic and take
around 1-2 days.
Does GetSite register its customers Domain Names?
Yes, and we do not charge for this service.
What
does it cost to register a Domain Name?
For US Domains InterNIC (Network Solutions) charges US$70 for
the first two years. You will need the following information:
Techinical Contact: AH847
Primary server hostname: NS.NETDOR.NET
Primary server netaddress: 65.118.72.2
Secondary server hostname: NS.GETSITE.NET
Secondary server netaddress: 65.118.72.5
What if I
already have a registered Domain name?
If you have a US Domain go to the InterNIC (Network Solutions) site and
complete the domain transfer. You will need the following information:
Techinical Contact: AH847
Primary server hostname: NS.NETDOR.NET
Primary server netaddress: 65.118.72.2
Secondary server hostname: NS.GETSITE.NET
Secondary server netaddress: 65.118.72.5
Ordering Questions
How do I place an order?
To order an account at GetSite simply fill in the form on our Order page.
How long will it take to set up my account?
Your account will be set up immediately on receipt of order, and will be ready within 24
hours.
What method
of payment can I use?
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Billing and Payment Questions
What
happens after I order an account?
We will set up your account within a few hours of receiving your order.
Our hosting service works on a prepayment system.
How do I
pay for my account?
You may pay by credit card.
If I cancel
my account, do I get a refund?
You may cancel at anytime. If your cancellation is within in 30 days we will refund all
but your setup fee. We do not refund the remainder of
your account after 30 days. Please see our GetSite Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of
Service Agreement
Technical Questions
Can I use CGI scripts?
Yes, you will have your own CGI-BIN where you can install your own scripts.
What database support do you have?
We offer as an option MSACCESS and MSQL.
Will I have Telnet access?
No, GetSite runs on NT servers and Telnet is not supported. You do have unlimited
FTP access to your site.
Can I use JAVA and Active X?
Yes, you can use compiled JAVA applets and ActiveX components.
Can I use SSL encryption?
We offer SSL as an optional feature.
