Create a text file called .usernamegetsitenet-alias
; replace username with your username and alias with
the alias (address) you want the autoresponse to be triggered
by.
- Example: .mysiteGetSitenet-webmaster would respond to messages sent to
webmaster@mysite.GetSite.net
In this file,
place the following text:
Return-Path: alias@username.GetSite.net
From: alias@username.GetSite.net
Subject: Your message has been received!
Your autoresponse goes here. It can be as long as you
desire.
Again, change alias with the address
you are using, as well as username with your GetSite username.
You must do this for both of the first two lines. The
subject can be anything of your choosing. There MUST be a completely blank line between the Subject line and the beginning
of your message!
To enable this autoresponder, upload the file to your
directory (in your main directory). Be sure to upload
in ASCII mode.
